2nd Bionicle Movie

Good News...Kind Of
I know you can't talk much on 2010, but I have a few questions.
1) The new theme replacing Bionicle is NOT Ben 10, correct?
2) What kind of pieces will summer 2010 sets be? Bionicle/technic, brick or mix?
3) Is there going to be a story like Bionicle? Will there be a book or books, online serials, etc?
3. Will you be writing the story?
4) Do you think the new theme will have a similar feel to Bionicle? Sets, story, all?
5) Do you think the majority of BZP will like this new theme?
6) When should we start hearing and seeing things on this new theme?
1) Correct. Ben 10 comes out in January, not in summer.
2) It is based on the same platform as BIONICLE
3-4) I really can't go into detail on this, but I will not be on the story team for it, my priority is working on BIONICLE story. I don't really have time to be involved in two different stories plus do my job.
5) No idea.
6) Beginning of next year. I know info will be released around ToyFair in Feb., if not before.
So we won't have to wait long to see if the NEW LINE is as good as BIONICLE was.

I Defy You LEGO!!!!!
Gresh96
P.S. I'm so p.o.'d I just had to get that out of my system before I exploded!
Bionicle Is Over
Dear BIONICLE Fans,
In reviewing the business across all of its play patterns and properties, the LEGO Group faced a tough question: should we take on a new creative challenge in the world of buildable figures that we pioneered in 2001?
BIONICLE re-invented the way consumers think of and play with the LEGO system. Through many chapters of compelling story and innovative product development, BIONICLE became a very strong property and an important part of The LEGO Group’s business. We think there is a significant opportunity to grow the buildable figure category, but it will take a more flexible platform that appeals to a wider range of ages through a variety of different entry points than BIONICLE has proven to deliver.
The easy decision would be to stick with a known entity in BIONICLE; but as history has proven, The LEGO Group achieves its greatest success by embracing the uncertainty that innovation brings. After all, BIONICLE almost never launched because it was such a big risk to the company’s way of doing business.
Because you have been such an important part of building the BIONICLE franchise and have been among its most valued fans, we are writing to tell you that the six BIONICLE Stars launching in January will be the last BIONICLE sets for the foreseeable future. Beginning in summer 2010, The LEGO Group will debut a new, more flexible buildable figure property created by the same people who brought you BIONICLE. At the same time, we are also expanding the category to appeal to a younger audience through an established third-party property, starting in January.
Since its beginning, BIONICLE has reflected the union of great product and a compelling story. Although there presently are no plans for more sets, the BIONICLE story is not ending. BIONICLEstory.com will remain an active site, with new story content updated by long-time BIONICLE writer Greg Farshtey. In addition, LEGO Group hopes to work with you, the fans, to continue to grow and expand the BIONICLE story universe.
This was an extremely difficult decision for all involved. But as seen in the tales of the Toa, striving for success in any mission requires imagination, new ways of thinking, and the willingness to take risks. We hope you will share the same level of enthusiasm we have for our plans for the buildable figure category.
We invite you to remain a part of the BIONICLE universe—a universe you have helped to build, and that we are confident that you will continue to build—in the future. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the BIONICLE and LEGO brands.
With our very best regards,
Jan Faltum, Global BIONICLE Director

Where I got My Info For 2010
1. If they are canon, why is only Tahu there?
2. How did the Stars get out of Teridax's body?
3. How is Vezok not a snake?I understand if you can't answer these.
Teridax1. Was the original plan for 2010 for Teridax to come, or was that changed?
2. Will he appear in the next movie, then?
3. What was the point of the map at the end of The Legend Reborn, then? Obviously 2010 will just deal with Teridax and Mata Nui and such, so is the map 2011 story....Anyway, thanks for the 2010 info, even if I didn't really like how it's going.....
1) Because we aren't doing 11 Stars sets, so we can't do all six original Toa. Doesn't mean they aren't present, just aren't sets.
2) Wait for 2010 for that3) It's not Vezok1,
2) Too early to discuss
3) The map plays a part in the "in between 2009 and 2010" story, in the November comic and in graphic novel #10 next year.
Stars3. So it's another Skakdi?
4. Teridax
3. Actually, I did hear from someone else who attended that it has to do with the Valley of the Maze. So is the symbol on the left the symbol of the Valley of the Maze? (The symbol that looks like three lines with one crossing through the center)?
4. So will Teridax appear in the November comic?
5. GN #10 is the one that focuses on the Red Star as well, right? So can we assume it focuses completely on that, with maybe the ending being Teridax attaching the Red Star to his back as Mata Nui discovers the map?6. Does this mean we're never going to Bota Magna?
3) Yes
3) The symbol on the left of what?
4) Yes
5) No. Teridax does not appear in GN #10, it takes place before he arrives on Bara Magna. GN #9 collects the 2009 comics, GN #11 the 2010 comics, so GN #10 takes place in between the two.
6) Does what mean we aren't going to Bota Magna?
6) Well, if Teridax is going to Bara Magna, then it's likely that they'll be putting Spherus Magna back together. And anyway, the fact that it is going to be Teridax arriving, it's very plausible that Bionicle is going to end in 2010. Because the huge fight between Mata Nui and Teridax and the reappearance of Tahu in his 01 form all seem like things Bionicle would save for its last year.
6) I can see your point, but it is possible to go to Bota Magna in story without Bota Magna having to be a separate planet/moon. It is still a region of the world that could be visited even if the world is reassembled, right?

Also i need some people to design a new foot piece and a new leg piece. Email the pics of the things you design to gresh96@yahoo.com

Bionicle Game Thingy
I'm starting a bionicle game type thing. All you have to do is say what village on Bara Magna that u want to be from. Here is list of what the different Agori can have and do.
Tajun- Inventors-Water
Vulcanus-Warriors-Lava
Tesara-Explorers-Metal
Desert Dwellers-Scraps of old armor-Warriors
Iconox-Warriors-Metal
Roxtus-Warriors-Rock
Pick what village you are. You can't switch your village. Each Agori gets 20 of the materials the have. You can trade with other people for supplies. 20 metal, 5 lava, and 1 rock will make your agori a sword. 10 metal, 3 lava, and 1 rock will make your agori a shield. you muse have at least 1 water at all times. Those who don't have water must get some as quickly as possible. 10 scraps of old armor and 10 lava will make you 20 metal. for every 1 scrap of old armor and 1 lava you can make 2 metal. Please no cheating. When you have 1 shield and two swords you can become a glatorian by trading in 1 metal, 1 rock, 1 srap of old armor, 1 lave, and 1 water. Once you become a glatorian, all you need to do to beat the game is make a elemental weapon. To make an elemental weapon you need,
20lava, 15 rock, 20 metal, 15 scraps of old armor, and 5 water.
All trades must be done on this post. I will keep a record of what materials everyone has. if you cheat u will be disqualified. u have to get rid of the materials u use to get the weapon.

Review on Bionicle Stars (Gresh)
Review time again. Stepping up GRESH! I found pics of the actual sets now but on with the review. Ill start with the new pieces and recolors. The body is a recolor and so are the arms, helmet, and the blades. The feet are new and so is the chest and shoulder armor. He has a piece to the golden bionicle. I have heard from some sites that the golden bionicle will be Lihkan. I dont know if this is true but it would be very cool. The new chest piece looks very leafy to me. It is a very cool new piece. Also, tell me what you think about the new feet. Do you think you could use them on big sets? I give this set a 9/10. I can't wait for it to hit a store near me.

Cons
Gelu and Malum aren't in it.

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 18
“We are going to look for the air tribe,” said Mata-Nui.
“The air tribe?” said Kiina.
Mata-Nui handed him the tablet and Kiina read it. “I see,” said Kiina, “it does seem that we are in our greatest need right now.”
“Yes,” said Ackar.
“What are we waiting for?” asked Kiina. “Let’s go find them.”

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 17
“Yes,” said Vastus. “We have seen what has happened.”
“Have the Skrall destroyed the village?” asked Tarix.
“No,” said Mata-Nui.
“Good,” said Tarix.
“We came to ask you if we would join our party,” said Mata-Nui.
“I am sorry,” said Tarix, “but I can’t. I must stay and protect my village.”
“I understand that you must stay with your village,” said Mata-Nui, “but is there anyone else who might help?”
“Yes,” said Tarix. “His name is Kiina. He is in the cave above mine.”
“Thank you,” said Mata-Nui.

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 16
In the high mountains is a tribe.
Only at your greatest needs should you call on this air tribe.
This tribe is powerful.
When you call bring them what they most desire.
The last part which told what they so greatly desired was wiped out and Vastus could not read it. He ran out of the cave and found the others standing outside. He showed them the tablet. When he had finished reading it, Mata-Nui said, “We must search for this tribe after we find the Tajun villagers.”
“Where can we find them,” said Gelu, “there are no high mountains around here.”
“We will get to that after we find the Agori of Tajun,” said Mata-Nui.
They started looking for another row of caves somewhere else. As they traveled through the desert, the sand started to shift. Ten Vorox appeared and Mata-Nui immediately went into action. He shot his thornax launcher and hit a Vorox in the leg. The Vorox sank back into the sand. Ackar swung his sword and hit a Vorox on the head knocking it out. Vastus hooked a Vorox with his staff and threw it onto the ground. Gelu shot his thornax launcher and hit another Vorox in the chest. The rest of the Vorox disappeared.
STOP FIGHTING!!!

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 15
The group left the cave and headed for Tajun. “That was a waste,” said Gelu.
“Not really,” said Mata-Nui, “we figured out that he is fighting against the bonehunters. In time, I think he will join us.”
“Where do we go now?” asked Ackar.
“To Tajun,” said Mata-Nui.
They reached Tajun in two days. They entered the village and received a surprise. In the streets were Skrall patrols. There was no Tajun villager anywhere. The group hid inside of a small hut for a while. “What do we do?” asked Ackar.
“We’ll leave and go look for the villagers in the caves in the desert,” said Mata-Nui.
“Ok,” said Ackar.
They snuck out of the village and into the desert.

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 14
The beast roared again and saliva dripped onto Mata-Nui’s face. Mata-Nui shot a thornax hitting the creature in the face. Ackar had heard him and ran into the cave. He jumped onto the creatures head and decapitated it with a blow of his fire sword. “Thank you,” said Mata-Nui.
“Your welcome,” said Ackar.
Mata-Nui stood up and walked out of the cave. “We found a staircase,” said Vastus.
“Let’s climb it,” said Mata-Nui.
“Ok,” said Vastus.
They started to climb. The staircase ended at a cave. They entered. Inside was a Glatorian at a table. He had gold armor on his thighs and shoulders. His chest armor was lime green. Against the wall lay a claw and a thornax launcher with a sword attached to it. “Are you Calix?” asked Mata-Nui.
The Glatorian looked up. “Yes,” he said. “What do you want?”
“We need your help,” said Mata-Nui.
“Sit down,” said Calix. *I’ll post a picture of Calix soon.*
They sat down and Mata-Nui told his story. When he had finished, Calix said, “I’m sorry but I can’t help you.”
“Why not?” said Ackar.
“I’m a myth to most people. I work undercover against bonehunters. Do you think I’m not aware of my planet’s situation? I am.”
“I understand,” said Mata-Nui.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 13
“How about Calix?” suggested Ackar?
“That myth?” laughed Gelu, “he isn’t even real.
“Who is this, Calix?” asked Mata-Nui.
“He’s a fabled Glatorian. If he’s real, he’s probably very old. They say that he was the best Glatorian ever,” said Vastus.
“We should look for him,” said Mata-Nui.
“Why waste our time with a myth?” said Gelu.
“He may be a myth, he may not be,” said Mata-Nui. “Either way, while searching for him, we may find him and we may find another Glatorian,” said Ackar.
“True,” said Gelu, “but, we won’t find Calix.”
“We’ll try though,” said Mata-Nui. “Where is he supposed to live?”
“In a cave in the desert,” said Ackar.
“Let’s start looking,” said Mata-Nui.
They traveled to Creep Canyon and found a row of large caves. “Let’s search in them,” said Mata-Nui.
He walked into one. Ackar, Vastus, and Gelu walked into another. After walking about ten feet into the cave, Mata-Nui heard a roar. A giant monster swiped him off of his feet and leaned his head down with his giant mouth open.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 12
They turned around. “Fero,” said Vastus.
“That’s right,” said Fero, “it’s Fero. Get away before me and Skirmix are forced to attack you.”
“We found this bush,” said Mata-Nui, “and we intend to keep it.”
“Then, I’m sorry,” said Fero. “Not really.”
He attacked them. Skirmix swiped at Gelu, knocking him away. Mata-Nui jumped up on Skirmix and threw Fero off. Skirmix shrieked and tried to shake off Mata-Nui. Ackar and Vastus surrounded Fero. Mata-Nui held on for dear life. Finally Skirmix stopped bucking enough for him to jump off. Fero wrestled out of the grasp of Vastus, leaped up onto Skirmix, and road away. “Who was that?” asked Mata-Nui.
“Fero, a bonehunter,” said Ackar.
“Oh,” said Mata-Nui.
“Let’s harvest these thornax,” said Gelu.
They started to pick off the thornax. When they had enough, they stopped and sat down.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 11
“Probably,” said Gelu.
The light was fading and Mata-Nui stopped walking. “Let’s camp here,” he said. “I will take the first watch.”
The laid there weapons down and Mata-Nui sat on the hot sand. He was thinking about all he had gone through in his world. Ackar was suddenly sitting next to him. “Go to sleep,” said Mata-Nui.
“I can’t sleep,” said Ackar.
“Oh,” said Mata-Nui.
“What really happened to you on your home planet?” asked Ackar.
“Maybe some other time,” said Mata-Nui.
The sun rose and the group began to walk again. Suddenly, Ackar gave a shout of joy and ran ahead. There in front of them was a thornax bush.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 10
“One moment please,” said Gelu.
He finished his conversation with the Agori and then asked them to sit down. The Agori he had been talking to left with Metus. “What do you want?” Gelu asked.
Mata-Nui for the second time that day, told his story. “I will help you,” said Gelu.
“Good,” said Vastus.
“My only condition is that you help me locate a thornax bush,” said Gelu.
“We are doing this for the good of Bara Magna,” said Ackar, “not for a price.”
“I am running out of ammo for my thornax launcher,” said Gelu, “and as I see, you are too.”
“We will go search for one,” said Mata-Nui, “then we will continue our search for Glatorian.”
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 9
“I’m really sick of answering that question, so I will tell you and Strakk at the same time,” said Mata-Nui.
“I’ll lead you to Strakk,” said Metus.
“Thank you,” said Vastus.
Metus led them through the gates and into a small hut. “These Glatorian want to speak with you, Strakk,” said Metus.
“Sit down,” said Strakk.
They all sat down around the table and Mata-Nui told the story of how he had come here. “I see,” said Strakk, “I know two of you now, but who is the orange and red one?”
“I am Ackar, the Agori from Vulcanus. Mata-Nui made me into a Glatorian.”
“You have much power,” said Strakk, “but I can’t help you. Possibly Gelu would though.”
“Where is this Gelu?” asked Mata-Nui.
“I’ll bring you to him,” said Metus.
“Thank you,” said Mata-Nui.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 8
“In Iconox,” said Ackar.
“If things look bad we can get to Iconox for help,” said Mata-Nui.
“Exactly,” said Ackar.
“Get in now!” said Mata-Nui.
They ran into the cave. They got in a battle stance and a few seconds later, Malum and his three companions came in too. “I don’t know who you are;” said Malum, “but you and your friends here are trying to mess with the Skrall’s plans. I can’t let that happen.”
“And we won’t let you dispatch us,” said Mata-Nui.
“We’ll see,” said Malum.
The battle that happened next is too fierce to describe. Malum fell and the three Vorox fled. “You are strong,” said Malum to Mata-Nui, “if only you would join me.”
“Never!” yelled Mata-Nui, his voice was so loud that it shook the cave. “I’ve had enough evil on my own planet. I’m sick and tired of it. I want there to be peace with no evil in the world for at least three seconds. When I see that day, that’ll be the day that I can say that I destroyed evil. I’m here against my will, but while I’m here, I’m going to do my best to see evil destroyed on this planet.”
Ackar thought he saw tears in Mata-Nui’s eyes and wondered what Mata-Nui had really faced on his home planet. Malum laughed, “wonderful speech, but while you were talking, I gained enough strength to do one last thing.”
Malum shot his thornax launcher straight at Mata-Nui’s chest. The Mask of Life glowed and the thornax was gone. Malum sat there in awe then he ran. Ackar started to chase but Mata-Nui grabbed his shoulder. “We will meet him again, and when we do, he will regret the day he attacked us in this cave,” he said.
Monday, March 16, 2009
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 7
The group started to run. They soon were at the bottom of the mountain on which Iconox was located. They started to climb. Ackar looked behind them and saw three Vorox and Malum chasing them up the slope. “Oh, no,” he said, “run!”
They ran. A thornax whizzed past Vastus’s head but he took no notice of it. “They’re gaining!” yelled Vastus.
“In that cave,” said Ackar, “we’ll have to make a stand against them.”
“Why trap ourselves in a cave?” asked Mata-Nui.
“On my way to Iconox once, I explored that cave. It’s actually a tunnel.”
Sunday, March 15, 2009
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 6
“Yes,” said Mata-Nui.
“I’ll join you,” said Vastus.
“Thank you,” said Mata-Nui.
“Now, I suggest that we go to Iconox to see Strakk,” said Vastus.
“Ok,” said Mata-Nui.
“Let’s go,” said Ackar.
Vastus stood up, grabbed his staff, and followed Mata-Nui and Ackar out of the hut.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 5
Gresh was shooting at a tree as target practice with his thornax launcher. “Hello, Gresh,” said Tarduk.
“Hello, Tarduk,” said Gresh without turning around.
“There is someone here who wants to talk to you,” said Tarduk.
Gresh finally turned around. “Who are you?” he asked.
Mata-Nui explained who he was and Gresh thanked him for helping them. “Who is your friend there?” he asked after the story was told. “That’s Ackar,” said Tarduk. “Mata-Nui changed him.”
“It seems you have more power then I thought,” said Gresh, “I’m sorry but I can’t help you. Maybe you can go to Tesara and ask Vastus. I think I need to stay with my team, Tarix and Strakk.”
“I understand,” said Mata-Nui.
The Fight for Bara Magna Part 4
“Call me Mata-Nui,” said Mata-Nui.
“Yes, sir,” said Ackar.
They kept walking. They had walked for some time. It had not tired Mata-Nui at all, but he didn’t know about his brave companion. Soon they came to the jungle. A very rough path cut through it and this is what they followed. Mata-Nui didn’t even see the small Agori on the trail until he had bumped into him. “Who are you?” asked Mata-Nui.
“I am Tarduk,” said the Agori, “who are you two?”
“I am Mata-Nui,” said Mata-Nui, “and this is Ackar.”
“That isn’t Ackar,” said Tarduk. “I know Ackar, he isn’t a Glatorian.”
“I am now, Tarduk,” said Ackar.
“It is you!” cried Tarduk, “but how?”
“Mata-Nui here changed me.”
“Wow,” said Tarduk, “you must have amazing power.”
“I am the ruler of the world I come from,” said Mata-Nui.
“And where is that?” asked Tarduk.
“Can I tell you while we walk?” asked Mata-Nui, “I need to find Gresh.”
“Sure,” said Tarduk, “I’ll lead you to him.”
They started to walk and Mata-Nui told his story to Tarduk. When he had finished, Tarduk said, “that is an amazing story, and I am glad that you will help us.”They rounded a bend in the path and in a clearing was Gresh.

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 3
Mata-Nui had almost left the village when an Agori ran up to him. “Who are you?” asked Mata-Nui.
“I am Ackar, an Agori. I want to come with you.”
“You have much courage I see. Do wish to be a Glatorian?” asked Mata-Nui.
“That is every Agori’s dream,” said Ackar.
“Then let me help you fulfill your dream.”
The Mask of Life started to glow. The little Agori named Ackar started to grow. When the process was done, Ackar looked down at his shining orange armor. “I thank you, great one,” said Ackar.
In his left hand he held a fire sword and in his right hand, a thornax launcher. “Now come,” said Mata-Nui, “we need to go to Tesara.”

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 2
The lights of Vulcanus shone as Mata-Nui walked towards it. He entered the city and a small red thing that looked like a matoran ran towards him. It was Raanu. “Are you here to fight for us?” asked Raanu.
“What? I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t live here.”
“What?” said Raanu.
“I don’t live on this planet,” said Mata-Nui.
“Will you help us? Answer me and then I will tell you what’s happening,” said Raanu.
“I’ll help you,” said Mata-Nui.
“Come into my hut.”
Mata-Nui followed Raanu into a small hut. They sat down at a table and Raanu began to talk, “We Agori live on Bara Magna. We mostly live in harmony. When two villages have a dispute, we settle it in the arena. The people who fight for us are called Glatorian. Whoever wins the battle gets the area of land or gets the item that the dispute was about. You look like a Glatorian that is why I asked you if you were here to help us. The Skrall who live in Roxtus are trying to take over Bara Magna. They have already taken the city of Atero and will soon probably takeover Vulcanus, this village. We need an army.”
“I will help you,” said Mata-Nui. “My name is Mata-Nui. I come from a planet near you. I was the ruler there until I was cast out by my evil brother.”
“Thank you,” said Raanu. “I will give you directions to the village of Tesara. Search out the Glatorian Gresh and tell him that you talked to me and relate to him our conversation.”
“Ok,” said Mata-Nui.

The Fight for Bara Magna Part 1
The Mask of Life floated in space, the place where it will land, unknown. Inside is the spirit of Mata-Nui, ruler and protector of the matoran universe. Ahead of the mask is the planet known as Bara-Magna. 100,000 years ago, it was one big planet, now it is split into three planets the smaller two revolve around Bara Magna. Suddenly, The Mask of Life hits Bara Magna’s atmosphere and lands in the wastes near the village Vulcanus. Where the mask lay, now stands a hero, Mata-Nui. In his hand he holds a shining shield. In his other hand, he holds a thornax launcher. He sees the lights of the village and starts to walk towards it.
Bionicle Story
I'm going to write a story now. I realize it's a little early to write a story with the summer sets but i'm going to do it. I'll try to upload a chapter a day.

Review of Stronius
Stronius is very cool. My problems with him are that he's very short, his club doesn't seem very bionicleish, and I don't know if he's a skrall or not. His feet are cool and i like how they mixed the red and the black. Shoulder armor is ok and thigh armor is ok. His helmet is good and his body is good. There's nothing i really hate about him so it isn't like i wouldn't buy him.

Cendox V7 Review
Cendox V7. One of the coolest vehicles yet. First, it's cheep, only U.S. $19.99. Second, i love the rider. Third, the tread in the back is cool, it's kind of like a sled thing with one side of a tank on the back. If you look closely, you will see that he is wearing the Kaxium guys helmet. The helmet is reversable. I will buy this one first.
Vastus Review
This guy is very cool. His helmet is one of the best. His curved blade is very cool and i really like the staff and how they made it. I really like those feet and the are probably my favorite. I like the mix with the lime green arms and the dark green legs. Very cool shoulder armor. His body is ok. Vastus is perfect for a jungle guy. He's kind of snaky looking with that helmet. I will definently but this one.
Review of Kiina
Ok, my biggest problew with this one is it only has 42 pieces and it's still U.S. $12.99 It's helmet is pretty cool and its color goes well with the color head that they chose. It's water staff thing is ok. I like the shoulder and thigh armor but his body is disapointing. It' so weird looking. I can kind of forgive lego for that cause they wanted to try to make a good look with the body. Overall this one is OK.
